Welcome guide · Your budget
How your budget works
Your budget is our forecast of your car's running costs over the whole lease. Part of each pay goes into an account we manage, and we pay your car costs from it.
What the categories mean
- Finance: lease repayments (car cost plus interest)
- Maintenance: servicing, repairs, and wear and tear
- Tyres: replacement tyres
- Registration / CTP: yearly rego and compulsory third party insurance
- Insurance: comprehensive car insurance
- Fees: lease admin and management fees
- Fuel: petrol, diesel or charging
- Other: other car costs
Balances are a guide, not money in the bank
If tyres or rego come up early, we can cover them by borrowing from other categories while your pay catches up. But if too many categories run low, we may need to:
- pause approving claims
- adjust your budget and increase your deductions
- ask for a one-off top-up
Good to know
- See every category in the Budget tab.
- Running low? You can ask for more in the app.
