What can I claim?
As a rule of thumb, costs that maintain your car (not improve it) can be claimed from your lease.
Usually claimable
- fuel or charging
- servicing, repairs and tyres
- car washes
- rego, CTP and insurance
- repairing or replacing accessories that came with the car
Not claimable
Anything added after you got the car. For example, a towbar fitted later can't be claimed, because it wasn't on the car when you got it.
Good to know
- Approved claims are paid to your bank account within 24–48 hours.
- Claims are paid as long as there's enough in your account.
